Toronto, ON — June 14, 2013 — (PRNewsWire) — iotum, operator of several popular and versatile audio teleconferencing services for small business, including FreeConference.com and Calliflower, today announced further expansion of its user base through the acquisition of customers from Rondee, Inc. Terms were not disclosed. Effective immediately, Rondee’s existing customers will have access to all of InstantConference.comsuite of services.
Yahoo! acquired other assets of Rondee yesterday.
“This is all about growth and adding users to our robust technology platform. To minimize customer disruption we’ve integrated Rondee’s log-in IDs and On Demand PINs with InstantConference,” said iotum President and CEO Jason Martin. “With that, we’re now giving Rondee customers access to topnotch audio-conferencing capabilities via the InstantConference.com brand.”
iotum, which last month acquired Global Conference Partners, and several associated audio-teleconferencing services in a transaction with American Capital Ltd., will use one of those brands — InstantConference.com — to provide services to Rondee customers. The latest deal boosts iotum’s customer base while further amortizing its infrastructure and core technology.
